When you receive or pick up a free sample, have a look out for our logo. You may find a QR code to scan or a unique link to follow to one of our surveys. As a thank you for taking the time to complete our survey, we give you the opportunity to win amazing prizes!
Anyone over 16 years can take part in our surveys and give feedback. Anyone 18 years and over who is a resident of the UK, can take part in one of our prize draws. Specific terms and conditions will be available for each prize draw. We sometimes operate globally, and any prize draw will operate under the legal bounds of that country.
You can find full details on how your data is collected and used in our data privacy policy. To summarise; we collect two types of data, non-PII and PII.
Non-PII data cannot identify you. This could be rating the taste of a confectionary item on a scale of 1 - 10 or giving improvement suggestions. The majority of our data collection is for non-personally identifiable information (non-PII).
PII data is a type of data that could identify you, such as your email address. PII data is protected by the GDPR. We only collect PII data for a very specific purpose such as administering our prize draw or administering a follow-up survey if you consented to take part. PII data is only used for the purpose it is collected and is deleted straight after. It is never mandatory to supply PII data, you will always be asked if you wish to supply it.
Each prize draw will have its own terms and conditions for you to refer to. In general, the chances of winning are governed by the response to each campaign. We can receive anywhere from 8,000 to 500 responses per campaign with usually one prize on offer. We never offer cash prizes. You can contact us to find out the list of winners.
Sustainability is a big concern for us. Where possible we try to use compostable materials such as vegetable-based materials and ink. For instance, potato starch flow wrapping looks and feels like plastic but can actually go in your compost bin.
However, this type of material is in high demand and is not always available. As a second choice, we use recycled plastic materials to reduce the creation of virgin single-use plastic.
And finally, where we cannot use the first two options, we try to reduce the size of the item to reduce the burden on landfill.
We work with printing & packaging suppliers who offset carbon by planting trees. This means the carbon produced in the production of packaging is offset by creating the equivalent size of woodland. They work with assured schemes to make sure the trees are genuinely planted and not a gimmick. We are currently looking into a returns scheme so that we can repurpose unwanted sample containers.
